Chromatic aberrations explained

In digital cameras, micro lenses can also be a source of chromatic aberration and the visibility of chromatic aberrations is sometimes amplified by blooming.

Looking into it even more in details it can be stated that it seems that there are always a few photographs that manage to have some purple fringing with digital cameras. And, it seems to be the ones that the photographers rather favor the most. The bottom line is that it is an inherent problem with some digital cameras and it normally occurs when an area of a photograph is overexposed. Using software applications such as Adobe Photoshop, it is possible to decrease the visibility of the chromatic aberrations. To understand that how to repair chromatic aberrations with Adobe Photoshop, it has to be noted here that this technique replaces the magenta color with a lighter gray shade. It does not completely fix the problem, but it makes it less visible. The rest are the inherent details that are irrelevant to this discussion.
